Q. Can we have a training session together for support and to reduce cost?
A. Yes, if you have the room. I suggest a limit of three people so everyone receives attention.
Q. Do you give any discount for a block booking?
A. Dependent on the number of sessions prices are negotiable.
Q, How far do you travel?
A. In terms of distance, Computer Soup is available to most South East London, North West Kent areas although further afield distances will be subject to a cost for travelling time. Please ring for details.
Q. Are you insured?
A. Yes, Computer Soup Ltd. carries full Public Liability Insurance.
Q. Do you cover Apple Macs?
A. Yes, Computer Soup Ltd. can cover the support of Apple Macs.
Q. Do you give credit?
A. No, unfortunately Computer Soup Ltd. cannot give credit.
Q. Can you supply a temporary computer?
A. The majority of Computer Soup Ltd’s work takes place onsite and is completed on the day of appointment. In the event a machine must be taken away then it may be possible to arrange a loan of a temporary machine. This is subject to certain criteria and at the discretion of Computer Soup Ltd.
Q. Can I watch and learn whilst you repair my computer?
A. Yes, absolutely, Computer Soup Ltd. believes in education and improving general computer literacy. We would be happy to explain as whilst carry out any work.
Q. Who do recommend as a Broadband supplier or Computer Manufacturer?
A. There are many good Internet Service Providers (ISP’s) and brands which can help you. Computer Soup Ltd judges recommendations on a job by job basis. Please ring for an up to date recommended spec list and notable brands of worth.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. Computer Soup Ltd. accepts cash or cheque.
Q. How long will it take to fix my machine?
A. Subject to part availability most jobs take around an hour and half. Some more complex jobs can take four to five hours. Most jobs can be completed onsite and on the day of appointment.
Q. How often should we have someone at our machine?
A. Computer Soup Ltd. would recommend every 8-10 months you may require a small cleanup. Complex cleanups barring any corruption or virus issues are best done every 2-3 years.
Q. How often should we backup?
A. As often as you create data that you cannot afford to lose. Always backup as often as possible!
